This recipe is from FoodFood TV channel By Sanjeev Kapoor 09 Dec 2015 in Recipes Veg New Update Main Ingredients Soya granules, Basmati rice Cuisine Indian Course Rice Prep Time 11-15 minutes Cook time 16-20 minutes Serve 4 Taste Mild Level of Cooking Moderate Others Veg Ingredients list for Soya Granule Rice 1 cup Soya granules soaked in hot water 1 cup Basmati rice soaked for ½ hour 2 tablespoons Oil 2 stick Cinnamon 3-4 Cloves 1/2 teaspoon Cumin seeds 3 medium Onions chopped 1 teaspoon Coriander powder 1/2 teaspoon Red chilli powder 1/4 teaspoon Turmeric powder to taste Salt 2 1/2 cups Milk 1/2 teaspoon Garam masala powder 1 sprig Fresh coriander leaves Method Heat oil in a non stick pan, add cinnamon, cloves, cumin seeds and saute till fragrant. Add onions and saute for 2 minutes. Drain and add soya granules and mix and saute for 2 minutes. Add coriander powder, red chilli powder and turmeric powder and saute. Add salt and drained rice and mix well gently.Add milk and ½ cup water and mix. Add garam masala powder and mix. When the mixture comes to a boil, cover and cook on medium heat till the rice is done. Garnish with coriander leaves and serve hot.
