Ingredients list for Soya Aapams

  • 3 cup Rice
  • 1 cup Soya bean
  • 4 Green chillies chopped
  • 2 tablespoons Fresh coriander leaves chopped
  • 2 Onions chopped
  • 1 teaspoon Cumin powder
  • to taste Salt
  • 2 tablespoons Oil

Method

  1. Soak the rice and soyabeans overnight. Drain and grind it to a fine batter. Allow the batter to ferment for 3-4 hours.
  2. Add the chopped green chillies, cumin powder, chopped onions, chopped coriander leaves and salt to the batter. Mix well. Heat a kadhai and grease it.
  3. Pour a spoonful of batter in the middle of the kadhai and spread evenly gently rotating the kadai. Pour a tsp. of oil along the edges and cook for a minute. Serve hot.
