Ingredients list for Sitaphal and Sabudana Kheer
- 2 large Custard Apples Pulp
- 1 cup Sago soaked in hot water for 1 hour
- 4 cup Milk
- 1 teaspoon Oil
- 2 tablespoons Almonds chopped
- a pinch Green cardamom powder
- Few strands of saffron
- 3 tablespoons Sugar
Method
- Heat oil in a non-stick pan, add almonds and sauté till light golden.
- Add sago and mix well.
- Add milk and cook till sago is completely cooked and the kheer thickens.
- Add green cardamom powder, saffron, sugar and custard apple pulp. Mix well and cook for 2-3 minutes.
- Transfer into small serving bowls and serve.
