Ingredients list for Sitaphal Basoondi
- 4 Custard apples (sitaphal/sharifa)
- 2 litres Milk
- 1/2 tin Sweet condensed milk (200 gms)
- 1/4 teaspoon Green cardamom powder
- 10-12 Almonds , blanched, peeled and slivefed
- 10-12 Pistachios , blanched, peeled and slivered
Method
- Heat milk in a wide and shallow non-stick pan, stirring occasionally, till it reduces to half its original quantity.
- Meanwhile separate the segments of the custard apples, remove the seeds and put the pulp into a bowl.
- Add condensed milk to the pan and mix. Add green cardamom powder and mix.
- Switch the heat off and add custard apple pulp and mix well.
- Transfer into individual bowls, sprinkle almonds and pistachios, chill and serve.
