By Sanjeev Kapoor 07 Apr 2015 in Recipes Course New Update Main Ingredients Pasta Sauce, White Bread Slices Cuisine Fusion Course Snacks and Starters Prep Time 11-15 minutes Cook time 21-25 minutes Serve 4 Taste Mild Level of Cooking Easy Others Veg Ingredients list for Saucy Croutons 3/4 cup Pasta Sauce 12 White Bread Slices 2 tablespoons Olive oil 2 tablespoons Garlic chopped 2 teaspoons Fresh herbs chopped to taste Salt a pinch Red chilli flakes 1/2 teaspoon Butter for garnish Parmesan cheese powder Method Cut slices into small cubes. Heat one teaspoon oil in a non-stick pan, add bread cubes and toss and saute till crisp. Remove them from the pan and set aside. Heat the remaining oil in the same pan, add garlic and sauté till golden. Add herbs, pasta sauce, salt, a pinch of red chilli flakes and a little water. Mix well and cook till the sauce thickens. Add butter and mix well and cook for a minute. Add bread cubes and toss to mix. Serve immediately garnished with Parmesan cheese powder and red chilli flakes.
