Ingredients list for Santra Rava Malpua
- 10 tablespoons Orange Juice
- 5 tablespoons Semolina
- 1/2 cup Sugar
- 5 tablespoons Refined flour (maida)
- 3/4 cup Rabdi
- 1/4 cup Milk
- 2 tablespoons Yogurt
Method
- Cook sugar with 2 tbsps water to make a syrup. Add 5 tbsps orange juice and mix well. Cook on low heat. Mix flour, semolina, remaining orange juice and rabdi in a bowl. Add milk and mix to a smooth batter. Add yogurt and mix well. Heat a non stick pan, drizzle a little oil, pour a spoonful of batter and spread it slightly.
- Make some more such malpuas, keeping a little distance between each. Cook on medium heat. When the underside is done, turn them over and cook till the other side is equally done. Switch off the heat under the syrup. Drain the malpuas and dip them in the syrup till well coated.
- Serve hot as they are or with rabdi or ice cream.
