Roomali Masala Papad

Ingredients

  • Roomali roti dough as required
  • 4 tablespoons melted butter + drizzling
  • 2 teaspoons garlic-red chilli chutney
  • 2 teaspoons green chutney
  • 1 small tomato, finely chopped
  • 1 small onion, finely chopped
  • Salt to taste
  • Chaat masala powder as required
  • Sev for garnish
  • 3 tablespoons freshly chopped coriander leaves

Method

  1. Heat a non-stick kadai upside down. Meanwhile, take a portion of the dough and roll out the edges to form a thin disc. Stretch the disc and place it on the hot kadai.
  2. Cook the base of the roomali roti for 30 seconds and press using a cloth and cook till golden brown and crisp on both sides, take it off the heat.
  3. Apply butter, garlic-red chilli chutney, green chutney, tomatoes, onions, salt, chaat masala powder, and drizzle a little butter. 
  4. Sprinkle sev and chopped coriander. Serve immediately.
