Ingredients list for Ragi Sesame Laddoo

  • 1 1/2 cups Finger millet (ragi / nachni) flour roasted
  • 2 tablespoons White sesame seeds roasted
  • 1/2 tablespoon Ghee
  • 3/4 cup Powdered jaggery
  • 10-12 Almonds roasted and crushed
  • 10-12 Pistachios roasted and crushed
  • 1/2 teaspoon Cardamom powder

Method

  1. Heat ghee in a non-stick pan, add finger millet (ragi) flour and sauté till fragrant.
  2. Heat two tablespoons water and jaggery in another non-stick pan and let the jaggery melt.
  3. Add the melted jaggery into the finger millet flour alongwith almonds, pistachios, cardamom powder, white sesame seeds and mix well. Remove from heat and set aside till just warm.
  4. Divide the mixture into equal portions and shape them into laddoos.
  5. Serve.
