Ingredients list for Quick Oats Cookies
- ½ cup Rolled oats
- 1½ cups Refined flour (maida)
- 5 teaspoons Butter 1 cup +
- 10 tablespoons Powdered sugar
- ½ tablespoon Vanilla essence
- ¾ cup Rice flour
Method
- Preheat oven at 180°C.
- Cream butter and sugar in a bowl with an electric beater till light. Add vanilla essence and beat again.
- Sieve together the refined flour and rice flour into the bowl and continue to beat till well blended. Add oats and fold to make a stiff dough.
- Divide the dough into equal portions and shape them into cookies. Place cookies on a baking tray, put the tray in the preheated oven and bake for 15-20 minutes.
- Remove from oven and cool to room temperature.
- Serve.
