Quick Bun Pizza-Cook Smart Use brown burger buns as the base and homemade tomato sauce to make healthy version of pizza This recipe is from FoodFood TV channel By Sanjeev Kapoor 08 Sep 2018 in Recipes Course New Update Main Ingredients Brown burger buns, Medium tomato Cuisine Italian Course Snacks and Starters Prep Time 6-10 minutes Cook time 6-10 minutes Serve 4 Taste Mild Level of Cooking Easy Others Veg Ingredients list for Quick Bun Pizza-Cook Smart 2 Brown burger buns 1 Medium tomato 1/4 cup Tomato ketchup 2 teaspoons Mixed dried herbs 1 teaspoon Green chilli sauce 2 Button mushrooms 2 teaspoon for drizzling Extra virgin olive oil 50 grams Mozzarella cheese 2-3 Fresh basil leaves to taste Black peppercorns crushed Method Halve the burger buns horizontally and toast them on a non-stick pan, turning sides, till they are evenly done on both sides. Finely chop tomato and put in a bowl. Add tomato ketchup, mixed herbs and green chilli sauce and mix well. Slice mushrooms. Add 2 teaspoons olive oil to the tomato mixture and mix well. Spread the tomato mixture on each half of the toasted buns. Slice mozzarella cheese thinly and place a few over the tomato mixture. Place a few mushroom slices over the cheese. Roughly chop basil leaves and put on top of each bun half. Sprinkle crushed peppercorns on top. Heat a non-stick pan. Place the bun pizzas in it, cover and cook till cheese melts and mushrooms are cooked.
