Be a kid or a teenage or an adult or an oldie, chicken lovers trend all over the world at all times! One meat that is a favourite of all beyond belief! When cooked, it can be presented in many guises. Sauté it, fry it, toss it, bake it, steam it – eat it the way you want to. Whatever its form may be upon being cooked, its flavour may change but its flesh remains high in protein, low in fat and can be digested easily.

Ingredients for Pull Apart Sausage and Cheese Bread Recipe

  • Chicken sausages sliced diagonally 5-6

  • Mozzarella cheese cut into small thick slices 80 grams

  • sour dough bread 100 grams

  • Melted butter ½ cup

  • Garlic chopped 1 tablespoon

  • Fresh parsley chopped 1 teaspoon

  • Red chilli flakes ½ teaspoon

  • Salt to taste

  • Crushed black peppercorns to taste

Method

Step 1

Preheat oven to180º C.

Step 2

Make criss-cross incisions on the bread without cutting through. Insert mozzarella cheese slices and sausage slices alternatively into the cut spaces. Place the breadon a baking tray.

Step 3

Take butter in a bowl. Add garlic, parsley, chilli flakes, salt and mix well.

Step 4

Drizzle the prepared herb-garlic butter on the bread, cover with an aluminium foil, place the tray in the preheated oven and bake till cheese melts.

Step 5

Serve immediately.
