Ingredients list for Prawns With Pomogranate Seeds

  • 1/2 large Prawns
  • 1 teaspoon Pomegranate Seeds coarsely ground
  • 1/2 inch piece Ginger
  • 2 cloves Garlic crushed
  • 1 teaspoon Coriander seeds crushed
  • 1 teaspoon Red chilli powder
  • 2 tablespoons Tomato puree
  • 2 tablespoons Oil
  • to taste Salt
  • 3 tablespoons Fresh coriander leaves chopped
  • 1 medium Onions sliced

Method

  1. Peel and devein the prawns. Marinate them with ginger, garlic, pomegranate seeds, coriander seeds, red chilli powder, tomato puree, oil, salt and coriander leaves for about two hours in the refrigerator.
  2. Preheat the oven at 230ºC. Cut aluminum foil into small squares. Place the marinated prawns along with a few onion rings on each square and fold the sheet into small packets.
  3. Bake in the preheated oven for twelve to fifteen minutes. Open up the foil and serve hot.
