Indian food is also influenced by religious and cultural choices and traditions. 
Foreign invasions, trade relations and colonialism had introduced certain foods to the country like potato, chillies and breadfruit.

Ingredients for Potato Papad - SK Khazana Recipe

  • Medium potatoes boiled and peeled 4-5

  • Salt to taste

  • Red chilli flakes 1 teaspoon

  • Fresh coriander leaves chopped 1 1/2 tablespoon

  • Oil as required


Step 1

Grate potatoes into a bowl. Add salt, chilli flakes and coriander leaves and mash well.

Step 2

Grease a large plastic sheet with some oil. Place a portion of potato mixture on it, drizzle some oil on it and press into a thin disc with the help of another sheet. Make more papads similarly.

Step 3

Arrange the papads on a sheet and sundry for 1 day. Flip the papads and sundry for 1 more day.

Step 4

Deep-fry and serve.
