And did you always think that eating a potato will make you fat?
Well, don’t – it is a surprising source of vitamin C and provides useful amounts of starch, thiamine and niacin and around a hundred grams will provide about eighty calories.

Ingredients for Potato Chips Omelette Recipe

  • Potato wafers 500 grams

  • Eggs beaten 3

  • Green chillies chopped 2

  • Onion chopped 1 large

  • Tomato chopped 1 large

  • Oil 2 tablespoons

  • Fresh coriander leaves chopped 2 tablespoons

Method

Step 1

Heat oil in a non-stick pan. Add green chillies and onions and saute till translucent.

Step 2

Add tomatoes, cover the pan and let it cook on low flame for two minutes.Add chips and one cup water and bring it to boil.

Step 3

Lower the flame and pour beaten eggs all over the chips. Sprinkle coriander leaves and cover and cook till the eggs form an omelette. Serve hot.
