Ingredients list for Pizza Tart-SK Khazana
- 1 1/2 cups + for dusting Refined flour (maida)
- 20 grams Fresh yeast
- 1 teaspoon Castor sugar
- 1 teaspoon Milk powder
- 1 teaspoon Baking powder
- 1 teaspoon Salt
- 1 tablespo for greasing Oil
- for brushi Butter
- 4 tablespoons Pizza sauce
- 6 tablespoons Mozzarella cheese grated
- 8-12 Fresh basil leaves
Method
- Mix together yeast, castor sugar and 1-2 tablespoons water in a small bowl. Set aside to activate.
- Mix together flour, milk powder, baking powder and salt in a bowl. Add activated yeast and sufficient water and knead to a soft dough. Add oil and knead again.
- Grease a bowl with some oil, place dough in it, cover with a cling film and set aside to prove.
- Preheat oven to 180º C.
- Divide the dough into 4 equal portions, place on a dusted worktop and roll out into thin discs.
- Line individual tart moulds with the discs and discard the excess dough. Fill each of them with chickpeas and keep them on a baking tray.
- Put the tray in preheated oven and blind bake for 8-10 minutes. Remove from oven, cool, discard the chickpeas and demould.
- Brush tart shells with some butter and spread 1 tablespoon pizza sauce in each. Top each with 1½ tablespoons cheese and 2-3 basil leaves.
- Transfer them on a baking tray, put the tray in preheated oven and bake till the cheese melts.
- Serve hot.
