Ingredients list for Peach Crumble

  • 400 grams Peach tinned
  • 3 tablespoons brown sugar/jaggery
  • a pinch Cinnamon powder
  • 1 tablespoon Raisins
  • 50 grams Refined flour (maida)
  • 250 grams Butter
  • to serve Whipped cream

Method

  1. Preheat oven at 180ºC.
  2. Arrange peaches on the base of a glass baking dish. Sprinkle 1 tablespoon brown sugar, cinnamon powder and raisins on top.
  3. Put flour in a bowl. Add butter and remaining brown sugar and mix with fingertips till the mixture resembles breadcrumbs.
  4. Top the peaches with this mixture, place the dish in the preheated oven and bake for 20-25 minutes. Remove from heat and cool down to room temperature.
  5. Top with whipped cream and serve.
