Ingredients list for Payasam
- 50 grams Vermicelli
- 1 1/2 teaspoon Milk
- 10 Cashewnuts
- 10 Raisins
- 3/4 cup Milk
- 3 tablespoons Sugar
- 1 tablespoon Condensed milk
- 1/2 teaspoon Green cardamom powder
Method
- Heat one tablespoon ghee in a non-stick pan.
- Add vermicelli and saute for a minute. Remove and set aside.
- Heat the remaining ghee in a pan add cashewnuts and raisins and saute for a minute.
- Add milk and vermicelli and cook for five minutes.
- Add sugar and stir till it gets dissolved.Add condensed milk, green cardamom powder, borneal flakes and mix gently.
- Serve garnished with cashewnuts and raisins
