Ingredients
- 200 grams readymade paneer tikka
- 1½ cups whole wheat flour + for dusting
- 2 tablespoons yogurt
- 3 tablespoons ghee + for shallow frying
- Salt to taste
- Green chutney for applying
- 1 large onion, sliced
- Chaat masala to sprinkle
- Salad for serving
Method
- Mix whole wheat flour, yogurt, 1 tablespoon ghee and salt in a bowl. Add sufficient water and knead to soft dough. Set aside for 5-10 minutes.
- Divide the dough into equal portions, dust some flour and roll out into a small disc.
- Spread half a tablespoon of ghee on it and sprinkle dry flour. Give a slit from the centre and roll to form a cone. Flatten, dust some more flour and roll out into a thin disc.
- Heat a non-stick tawa, roast the prepared parantha till golden brown on both sides. Drizzle ghee on each side and continue to cook for a few seconds. Transfer on a plate and crush lightly to separate layers.
- Spread some green chutney, place a few pieces of paneer tikka in the centre.
- Place some sliced onions on top and sprinkle chaat masala. Fold the sides.
- Serve with salad and green chutney.
