Ingredients list for Palak with prawns
- 2 medium Spinach chopped
- 16 large Prawns (kolambi/jhinga) peeled and deveined
- 3 tablespoons Oil
- 1 teaspoon Cumin seeds
- 1/2 teaspoon Turmeric powder
- 1 teaspoon Coriander powder
- 1/2 teaspoon Cumin powder
- 2-3 Green chilli chopped
- to taste Salt
Method
- Marinate the prawns with salt and set aside.
- Heat oil in a non-stick pan. Add cumin seeds and saute for a minute. Add prawns and saute for two to three minutes.
- Add spinach, turmeric powder, coriander powder, cumin powder , green chillies and salt and cover and cook on low flame or till the water dries up.
- Remove the lid and cook further for two minutes.Serve hot.
