Ingredients
- 4 medium potatoes thoroughly washed
- 1 teaspoon paprika
- 1 teaspoon dried thyme
- 1 teaspoon dried oregano
- Crushed black peppercorns to taste
- Salt to taste
- Oil for drizzling
Method
- Preheat the oven to 180° C.
- Soak potatoes in water with a little salt. Drain and pat them dry.
- Vertically insert a skewer through the center of a potato. Use a knife to cut the potato into spirals.
- Take paprika in a large bowl, add thyme, oregano, crushed peppercorns, basil and salt mix well.
- Sprinkle the spice mixture on the potatoes and place the potatoes on a baking tray. Drizzle oil on top.
- Place the tray in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes or till the potatoes are crisp.
- Remove them from the skewers and place on serving platter. Serve hot with mayonnaise.
