Ingredients list for Oatmeal Jaggery Cookies

  • 1 cup Oatmeal
  • ¾ cup Jaggery
  • 1 cup Whole wheat flour (atta)
  • ¼ cup + fo Olive oil
  • ¼ teaspoon Black pepper powder
  • ¼ teaspoon Cinnamon powder
  • 1 teaspoon Dried ginger powder (soonth)
  • a pinch Soda bicarbonate
  • ½ cup Milk

Method

  1. Preheat oven to 180º C. Grease a baking tray with oil.
  2. Put oatmeal, wheat flour, olive oil, powdered jaggery, black pepper powder, cinnamon powder andginger powder in a bowl and mix well.
  3. Add soda and mix well. Add milk and mix well. Set aside.
  4. Drop dollops of oatmeal mixture on the greased traykeeping some distance between each. Place the tray in the preheated oven and bake for 20 minutes.
  5. Remove tray from oven and cool down to room temperature.
  6. Arrange the cookies on a serving plate and serve.
