By Sanjeev Kapoor 04 May 2016 in Recipes Course New Update Main Ingredients Almonds, Cashewnuts Cuisine Fusion Course Desserts Prep Time 16-20 minutes Cook time 26-30 minutes Serve 4 Taste Sweet Level of Cooking Easy Others Veg Ingredients list for Nut Chikki Munchies 1/2 cup Almonds blanched and peeled 1/2 cup Cashewnuts 1/2 cup Walnuts 1/2 cup Sesame seeds (til) 1 1/2 cups Jaggery (gur) a few strands Saffron (kesar) 1 tablespoon Ghee Method Roast the almonds and cashewnuts lightly and chop roughly. Crush walnuts. Grease a tray. Melt jaggery in a pan. Add saffron and mix. When the jaggery has melted completely add roasted sesame, cashewnuts, walnuts and almonds and mix well. Immediately transfer the mixture onto the greased tray and spread with a rolling pin. Dab some ghee on the surface and cut into squares when still hot. When it cools loosen the squares and serve.
