Remove the skin that forms on the surface towards the sides of the pan. Remove one teaspoon of hot milk from the pan and add saffron, mix well and add this to the hot milk. When milk reduces to half the original quantity, add sugar, green cardamoms and dry fruits. Stir and cook for two minutes. Remove from heat and cool to room temperature. Mix all the fruits and add it to the rabri and mix well. Pour into a serving bowl, garnish with cherries and place in a refrigerator to chill. Serve chilled.
