Ingredients list for Mozzarella Pops
- 400 grams Mozzarella cheese cut into thick strips
- 2 teaspoons Dried mixed herbs
- 1/2 cup Cornflour/ corn starch
- to taste Salt
- 1 teaspoon Black pepper powder
- 1/2 cup Refined flour (maida)
- 1 teaspoon Paprika
- 1 cup Bread crumbs
- to deep fry Oil
Method
- Mix refined flour, cornflour, salt, pepper powder, mixed herbs, paprika and water in a bowl and whisk well to make a thick batter.
- Dip the mozzarella strips in the batter and then coat it with the bread crumbs and keep it in the refrigerator of fifteen to twenty minutes.
- Heat sufficient oil in a kadai. Deep fry the mozzarella strips till golden. Drain on absorbent paper and serve hot.
