Ingredients

  • 1 medium onion, finely chopped
  • 1 medium potato, peeled and finely chopped
  • 1 medium carrot, peeled and grated
  • 2 medium tomatoes, finely chopped
  • ¼ medium cabbage, finely chopped
  • 1 tablespoon butter
  • Salt to taste
  • Crushed black peppercorns to taste
  • 1 tablespoon whole wheat flour (atta)

Method

  1. Heat butter in a pressure cooker. Add onion, potatoes and carrot and sauté for high heat for 2 minutes.
  2. Add tomatoes, cabbage, salt, crushed peppercorns and wheat flour and mix well. Add 4-5 cups water, cover and pressure cook on medium heat for 5-6 minutes. Open the lid when the pressure is completely released.
  3. Serve hot.
