Ingredients list for Matar Kebabs

  • 1 cup Green peas
  • 1 teaspoon Green chilli
  • 75 grams Paneer (cottage cheese), grated
  • 1 medium Onion , finely chopped
  • 2 teaspoons Chole masala
  • to taste Salt
  • 1 teaspoon Red chilli powder
  • 5 tablespoons Cornflour/ corn starch
  • to deep fry Oil

Method

  1. Grind green peas and green chilli to a coarse paste.
  2. Add cottage cheese, onion, chole masala, salt, red chilli powder, corn flour and mix well.
  3. Divide the mixture into equal portions and roll into cylinders.Heat oil in a kadai.
  4. Deep fry the prepared cylinders till golden brown and crisp.
  5. Drain on an absorbent paper and Serve hot with tomato ketchup.
