Ingredients list for Makhana Paratha
- 1 1/2 cups Whole wheat flour
- 12-15 Makhane
- 2 tablespoons Wheat bran
- 4 medium Potatoes boiled peeled and grated
- 2 Green chillies roughly chopped
- 1 teaspoon Dried pomegranate seeds
- 1 tablespoon Chopped fresh coriander
- to taste Salt
- to shallow fry Oil
Method
- Grind makhane, green chillies, pomegranate seeds to a coarse powder.
- Combine the mixture in a bowl along with potatoes, coriander and salt in a bowl.
- Combine whole wheat flour, wheat bran and salt in a bowl. Add sufficient water and knead to a soft dough.
- Divide both the stuffing and dough into equal portions. Roll a portion of dough into ball and flatten.
- Roll into a thick parantha and stuff the potato filling. Seal the edges and roll into a thick parantha.
- Heat a non-stick tawa. Place the parantha and roast till golden. Drizzle oil and cook.
- Serve hot.
