Makhana Paratha By Sanjeev Kapoor 09 Feb 2016 in Recipes Course New Update Main Ingredients Whole wheat flour, Makhane Cuisine Fusion Course Breads Prep Time 11-15 minutes Cook time 11-15 minutes Serve 4 Taste Select Taste Level of Cooking Moderate Others Veg Ingredients list for Makhana Paratha 1 1/2 cups Whole wheat flour 12-15 Makhane 2 tablespoons Wheat bran 4 medium Potatoes boiled peeled and grated 2 Green chillies roughly chopped 1 teaspoon Dried pomegranate seeds 1 tablespoon Chopped fresh coriander to taste Salt to shallow fry Oil Method Grind makhane, green chillies, pomegranate seeds to a coarse powder. Combine the mixture in a bowl along with potatoes, coriander and salt in a bowl. Combine whole wheat flour, wheat bran and salt in a bowl. Add sufficient water and knead to a soft dough. Divide both the stuffing and dough into equal portions. Roll a portion of dough into ball and flatten. Roll into a thick parantha and stuff the potato filling. Seal the edges and roll into a thick parantha. Heat a non-stick tawa. Place the parantha and roast till golden. Drizzle oil and cook.
