Ingredients list for Maatachi Bhaji

  • 1/4 cup Peanuts
  • 1 bunch Amaranth
  • 2 tablespoons Oil
  • 5-6 cloves Garlic
  • 1 medium Onion
  • 4-5 Green chillies
  • 1/4 teaspoon Turmeric powder
  • to taste Salt
  • 2 tablespoons Roasted chana dal powder

Method

  1. Clean maat, shred finely. Peel onion and chop finely. Peel garlic and chop. Remove stems from green chillies and chop.
  2. Roast peanuts and grind roughly. Heat oil, add garlic, cook for a moment. Add chopped onion and cook. Add chopped green chillies, turmeric powder and shredded maat and mix. Sprinkle a little water and cook well.
  3. Mix besan with a little water and add to the pan. Add peanuts, salt and mix well. Further cook for 5-6 minutes. Take off the heat and serve hot.
