Ingredients list for Maatachi Bhaji
- 1/4 cup Peanuts
- 1 bunch Amaranth
- 2 tablespoons Oil
- 5-6 cloves Garlic
- 1 medium Onion
- 4-5 Green chillies
- 1/4 teaspoon Turmeric powder
- to taste Salt
- 2 tablespoons Roasted chana dal powder
Method
- Clean maat, shred finely. Peel onion and chop finely. Peel garlic and chop. Remove stems from green chillies and chop.
- Roast peanuts and grind roughly. Heat oil, add garlic, cook for a moment. Add chopped onion and cook. Add chopped green chillies, turmeric powder and shredded maat and mix. Sprinkle a little water and cook well.
- Mix besan with a little water and add to the pan. Add peanuts, salt and mix well. Further cook for 5-6 minutes. Take off the heat and serve hot.
