Ingredients
- 200 grams kidney beans, soaked and boiled
- 200 grams mushrooms, sliced
- 4 tablespoons oil
- 1 bay leaf
- 3 medium onions, thinly sliced
- 1 teaspoon paprika
- Salt to taste
- A pinch of red chilli powder
- 2 tablespoons tomato puree
- 1 medium red capsicum, thinly sliced
Method
- Heat oil in a non stick pan, add bay leaf and onions and saute till transluscent. Add mushrooms, kidney beans and the water in which the beans were boiled and mix well.
- Add paprika, salt and red chilli powder and mix well. Cook for 2 minutes. Add tomato puree and red capsicum and mix well.
- Cover and cook for 2-3 minutes. Mash coarsely with a hand blender. Serve in a Georgian clay pot.
