Ingredients for Khajur Dryfruit ki Barfi Recipe

  • Pistachios chopped 1/3 cup

  • Almonds chopped 1/3 cup

  • Seedless black dates finely chopped 1 cup

  • Ghee 1 tablespoon + ½ teaspoon for greasing

  • Green cardamom powder 1/4 teaspoon


Step 1

Heat ghee in a non-stick pan. Add pistachios and almonds and sauté till they become golden brown in colour.

Step 2

Add dates andquarter cup water and continue to cook till they become soft.

Step 3

Add green cardamom powder and mix well. Remove from heat.

Step 4

Grease the barfi tray with ghee and spread the mixture evenly in it.

Step 5

Allow it to set for thirty minutes and then cut into equal squares.

Step 6

Arrange them on a serving plate and serve at room temperature.
