You can’t eat breakfast at night or dinner in the afternoon – but snacks? that you can eat anytime of the day! Along with tea, after school or at a birthday party – snacks are every foodie’s ultimate favourite. Healthy snacking is the best way to satisfy your munchies without the worry of to many added calories.

Ingredients for Kathi Roll - SK Khazana Recipe

  • Whole wheat flour chapattis 4

  • Paneer tikka 150 grams

  • Oil 1 tablespoon + for shallow frying

  • Butter 1 tablespoon

  • Ginger-garlic-green chilli paste 1/2 tablespoon

  • Medium onion finely chopped 1

  • Medium tomato finely chopped 1

  • Red chilli powder 1/2 teaspoon

  • Chaat masala a pinch

  • Medium green capsicum finely chopped 1

  • Chutney mayonnaise 4 tablespoons


Step 1

Heat 1 tablespoon oil and butter in a non-stick pan. Add ginger-garlic paste and sauté for a minute.

Step 2

Add onion and sauté till well browned. Add tomato, mix and cook till it turns soft and pulpy.

Step 3

Cut paneer tikka into strips, add to the pan alongwith chilli powder, chaat masala and capsicum, mix well and cook for 1-2 minutes. Remove from heat and set aside.

Step 4

Spread 1 tablespoon chutney-mayonnaise on each chapatti. Place a portion of cooked mixture on one side and roll tightly. Secure with a toothpick.

Step 5

Heat some oil in another non-stick pan. Place rolls on it and fry till evenly browned from all sides.

Step 6

Serve hot.
