Ingredients list for Kashmiri Kahwa - SK Khazana

  • 1 tablespoon Tea leaves
  • 8-9 Green cardamoms crushed
  • 1 inch Cinnamon stick
  • a few stra to garnish Saffron
  • 5-6 Almonds roughly chopped
  • 1/4 cup Honey

Method

  1. Heat 3 cups water in a deep non-stick pan. Add green cardamoms, cinnamon and saffron and let the water come to a boil.
  2. Add the tea leaves and almonds and continue to boil for 1 minute more. Add honey and mix well.
  3. Strain into a kettle and pour into individual cups. Garnish with a few saffron strands and serve hot.
