This recipe is from FoodFood TV channel By Sanjeev Kapoor 24 Jan 2019 in Recipes Course New Update Main Ingredients Raw Mangoes, Gram Flour Cuisine Indian Course Dals and Kadhis Prep Time 0-5 minutes Cook time 16-20 minutes Serve 4 Taste Sweet & Sour Level of Cooking Moderate Others Veg Ingredients list for Kachche Aam ki Kadhi 1 1/2 Raw Mangoes peeled and cut into large pieces 1/2 cup Gram Flour 1 tablespoon Oil 1/4 teaspoon Fenugreek seeds (methi dana) 1/2 teaspoon Mustard seeds 2-3 Spring onions with greens 2-3 Dried red chillies 10-12 Curry leaves 1/2 teaspoon Turmeric powder to taste Salt 1 teaspoon Red chilli powder 2 tablespoons Jaggery grated Method Heat oil in a deep non-stick pan, add fenugreek seeds and mustard seeds and let them splutter. Roughly chop spring onion bulbs with a little stem portion and add to the pan and mix well. Add dried red chillies and mix well. Roughly chop the spring onion greens and add. Put most of the raw mango pieces in a mixer jar with 2-3 tbsps water, grind to a smooth paste and transfer into a bowl. Add gram flour and whisk well. Add curry leaves to the mixture in the pan and mix well. Add turmeric powder, salt and 1½ cups water to the raw mango-gram flour mixture and whisk well. Add gram flour batter to the pan and mix well. Add the remaining raw mango pieces and mix well. Add red chilli powder and mix well. Add jaggery and mix well. Cook for 10 minutes, stirring at regular intervals. Serve hot.
