Honey And Orange Glazed Chicken Chicken marinated and baked with honey orange sauce By Sanjeev Kapoor 22 Feb 2016 in Recipes Non Veg New Update Main Ingredients Chicken breasts , Ginger Cuisine American Course Main Course Chicken Prep Time 1.30-2 hour Cook time 31-40 minutes Serve Taste Sweet & Sour Level of Cooking Easy Others Non Veg Ingredients list for Honey And Orange Glazed Chicken 800 grams Chicken breasts deboned 1 inch piece Ginger finely chopped to taste Salt 2 tablespoon Mustard paste 6 tablespoon Orange juice 3-4 Black peppercorns crushed 1 teaspoon Red chilli flakes 4 tablespoons Honey 2 tablespoons Lemon juice 8-10 Baby onions peeled 2 medium Carrots thickly sliced For glaze 1/2 cup Orange juice 1/4 teaspoon Red chilli flakes 1 tablespoon Honey 1 teaspoon Mustard paste Method In a bowl mix ginger, salt, mustard paste, orange juice, crushed peppercorns, red chilli flakes, honey and lemon juice. Marinade the chicken in this mixture for about an hour. Pre-heat the oven to 200° C. Heat a non-stick pan. Add baby onions, carrots and mix. Roast for two minutes. Take a baking tray. Spread the vegetables at the base. Put marinated chicken over it along with the marinade. Place in the pre-heated oven at 200° C and allow it to bake till done. Meanwhile, for the glaze mix orange juice, red chilli flakes, honey and mustard paste and heat in a non-stick pan till reduced to half the quantity. Mid way through the baking, glaze the chicken with this mixture and continue to bake till the chicken is cooked.
