Ingredients list for Homemade Snack Bars - Diwali Special
- 15 grams Sunflower seeds (charoli/chironji) toasted
- 15 grams Pumpkin seeds toasted
- 2 tablespoons White sesame seeds toasted
- 30 grams Oats rolled, roasted
- 20 grams Puffed rice (kurmura/murmura)
- 20 grams Almonds roasted and chopped
- for greasing Oil
- 1 teaspoon Cinnamon powder
- 1/2 cup brown sugar/jaggery
- 2 tablespoons Honey
Method
- Grease a burfitray with some oil.
- Combine all the seeds, oats, puffed rice and almonds in a bowl and mix. Add cinnamon powder and mix well.
- Melt brown sugar with a few drops of water in a non-stick pan. Add honey and mix well. Add the seed mixture and mix well. Remove from heat.
- Spread the prepared mixture evenly on the greased tray. Set aside toset for one to two hours.
- Cut into bars and serve.
