Ingredients
- 1 kilogram raw mangoes, peeled and cubed
- 25 grams asafoetida pieces
- 250 grams salt
- 200 grams kashmiri red chilli powder
Method
- Put mango cubes in a bowl.
- Crush together salt, asafoetida and chilli powder in a mortar and pestle. Add this to the mangoes and mix well.
- Transfer into an airtight jar and set aside for about 7 days or till the mangoes leave out moisture.
- Serve.
