Ingredients list for Hariso
- 2 cups Brokenwheat
- 2 tablespoons Ghee
- 2 cups Water
- 1 cup Sugar
- 4 cups Milk
- a few drops Rose water
- 1/2 teaspoon Nutmeg powder
- 1/2 tablespoon Green cardamom powder
- a pinch Salt
- 5 Almonds
- 6 Sultanas
Method
- Heat ghee in a pan, add the broken wheat and salt and sauté for a few minutes. Add water, sugar and milk.
- Continue cooking till it reaches a thick consistency. Remove from heat, add rose water, cardamom and nutmeg powders. Blanch the almonds and cut them into slivers.
- Garnish the hariso with almonds and sultanas serve warm.
