Ingredients
- 4-6 spring onion with greens
- 2 tablespoons oIl
- 1 teaspoon mustard seeds
- 1/4 teaspoon asafoetida
- Salt to taste
- 1 teaspoon red chilli powder
- 1/4 teaspoon turmeric powder
- 1 cup gram flour (Besan)
- Rotis to serve
Method
- Chop spring onions and the greens.
- Heat oil in a non-stick pan, add mustard seeds and let them splutter. Add asafoetida and the spring onions, mix and saute for 3-4 minutes.
- Add salt, red chilli powder and turmeric powder and mix well.
- Add 1 cup water and mix and let the mixture come to a boil. Add gram flour and mix well. Cover and cook on low heat for 6-8 minutes. Take the pan off the heat.
- Serve hot with rotis.
