Ingredients list for Harcha
- 1½ cups semolina
- 1 tablespoon Sugar
- to taste Salt
- ¾ teaspoon Baking powder
- 6 tablespoons Melted butter
- for shallow frying Oil
Method
- Mix together semolina, sugar, salt, baking powder and butter in a bowl to make a dough.
- Place a portion of the dough in a cookie cutter and spread evenly. It should not be too thin. Similarly, prepare the remaining.
- Heat some oil in a non-stick tawa. Place the prepared portions, one by one, and shallow-fry on medium heat till crisp on both the sides. Drain on absorbent paper.
- Serve hot.
