Ingredients for Hara Chana Hummus Recipe

  • Fresh green chickpeas boiled 1 cup

  • Garlic 5 cloves

  • Lemon juice 1 tablespoon

  • Tahini 1/4 cup

  • Salt to taste

  • Green chickpeas stock 1/2 cup

  • Olive oil as required

  • Paprika powder to sprinkle

  • Black olives pitted and sliced 1-2 to garnish

  • Lavash to serve


Step 1

Put green chickpeas in a blender jar, add garlic, lemon juice, tahini, salt and green chickpea stock and blend to a fine paste.

Step 2

Transfer the hummus onto a serving plate, spread it evenly making a well in centre and pour olive oil in it.

Step 3

Sprinkle paprika powder, garnish with olive slices and serve with lavash.
