Ingredients list for Guchchi Pulao
- 10 Gucchi soaked morrel (guchchi)
- 8-10 Basmati Rice
- 1 1/2 cups Basmati rice soaked
- 2 tablespoon Butter
- 2 medium Onions
- 1 Bay leaf
- 8-10 Black peppercorns
- 2 cups Vegetable stock
- 1 cup Milk
- to taste Salt
Method
- Heat butter in a deep non stick pan.
Slice onions and add and sauté for 1 minute. - Add bay leaf, black peppercorns and mix.
Quarter button mushrooms and add and sauté for 2-3 minutes. - Slice the guchchi and add.
Drain and add rice and mix. - Add vegetable stock, milk and salt and mix well.
Cook till rice is done.
Serve hot.
