Ingredients list for Grilled Chicken

  • 1 Whole Chicken With Skin
  • 1 lemon
  • 2 tablespoons Ginger-garlic paste
  • 1 tablespoon Garam masala powder
  • 1 1/2 tablespoons Black pepper powder
  • 1 teaspoon Chaat masala
  • to taste Salt
  • 2-3 tablespoons Oil
  • 4 medium Onions
  • 4 Garlic pods

  1. Slit chicken from the centre and make deep gashes at the joints. Squeeze lemon and rub the juice over the chicken. Rub ginger-garlic paste over the chicken and into the gashes.
  2. Mix garam masala powder, black pepper powder, chaat masala and salt and rub it properly over the chicken.
  3. Preheat the oven at 180° C
  4. Heat a non-stick grill pan. Place the chicken on the pan, drizzle oil over the chicken.
  5. Halve the onions and garlic pods horizontally without peeling, and place them on the pan around the chicken.
  6. Grill on one side for 10 minutes. Flip and grill on the other side for 5-6 minutes.
  7. Cover the grill pan with an aluminium foil and place it in the preheated oven. Bake for 15-20 minutes.
  8. Remove from the oven, transfer onto a serving plate and serve hot.
