Ingredients list for Grilled Chicken
- 1 Whole Chicken With Skin
- 1 lemon
- 2 tablespoons Ginger-garlic paste
- 1 tablespoon Garam masala powder
- 1 1/2 tablespoons Black pepper powder
- 1 teaspoon Chaat masala
- to taste Salt
- 2-3 tablespoons Oil
- 4 medium Onions
- 4 Garlic pods
Method
- Slit chicken from the centre and make deep gashes at the joints. Squeeze lemon and rub the juice over the chicken. Rub ginger-garlic paste over the chicken and into the gashes.
- Mix garam masala powder, black pepper powder, chaat masala and salt and rub it properly over the chicken.
- Preheat the oven at 180° C
- Heat a non-stick grill pan. Place the chicken on the pan, drizzle oil over the chicken.
- Halve the onions and garlic pods horizontally without peeling, and place them on the pan around the chicken.
- Grill on one side for 10 minutes. Flip and grill on the other side for 5-6 minutes.
- Cover the grill pan with an aluminium foil and place it in the preheated oven. Bake for 15-20 minutes.
- Remove from the oven, transfer onto a serving plate and serve hot.
