Ingredients list for Grilled Chicken Legs with Honey Soya Chilli Sauce
- 2 Chicken legs
- 2 teaspoons Honey
- 4 teaspoons Soy sauce
- 1 Fresh red chilli
- to taste Crushed black peppercorns
- to taste Salt
- 2 teaspoons Worcestershire sauce
- 2½ teaspoons Oil
- 1 small Green capsicum
- 1 small Yellow bell pepper
- 1 small Red bell pepper
- 1 small Broccoli separated into florets and blanched
- 3-4 Garlic cloves
Method
- Debone chicken legs keeping the knuckle bone intact to get the bones less chicken. Add crushed peppercorns, salt and Worcestershire sauce and rub well on both sides.
- Heat 1 teaspoon oil in a non-stick grill pan. Place chicken and grill till evenly done from both the sides and grill marks appear on both sides.
- Deseed and cut capsicum and peppers into triangles.
- Pour 1 teaspoon oil in the same pan, place the capsicum, peppers and broccoli and grill till done.
- To make honey soya chilli sauce, seed and chop red chilli. Roughly chop garlic cloves.
- Heat remaining oil in a non-stick pan. Add chopped chilli and garlic and sauté for 2 minutes or till the raw flavours disappear.
- Transfer sautéed ingredients into a bowl. Add soy sauce and honey and mix well.
- Place the grilled vegetables on a plate and make a bed. Place the grilled chicken on top, drizzle the honey soy chilli sauce on top and serve immediately.
