Green Peas And Pista Burfi is a dessert made with green peas, pista and mawa. This might be a unique combination but do try it and you'll find that it is delicious.

1/2 cup Pistachios blanched peeled and thinly sliced
3-4 tables for greasing Pure ghee
2 cups Khoya/mawa grated
3/4 cup Sugar
3/4 teaspoon Green cardamom powder
Put the green peas in a grinder jar, add 2-3 tablespoons water and grind to a paste.
Heat ghee in a non-stick wok, add the green peas and saute till the mixture is almost dry.
Add mawa, mix and saute till the mawa melts and mixes well with the green peas.
Add sugar, mix and cook till sugar dissolves completely.
Grease a burfi tray with some ghee.
Add green cardamom powder to the green pea mixture and mix well. Add half the pistachios, mix well and cook for 2-3 minutes.
Pour the mixture into the greased burfi tray and spread evenly. Sprinkle the remaining pistachios on top and press lightly. Tap the tray gently on the table top and keep it in the refrigerator for 2 hours to set.
Bring the tray out, cut into squares, arrange them on a serving plate and serve.
