Greek Style Lamb Lamb chops cooked the Greek way with olives, mustard paste and feta cheese. This is a Sanjeev Kapoor exclusive recipe. By Sanjeev Kapoor 11 Aug 2015 in Recipes Course New Update Main Ingredients Lamb chops, Potatoes Cuisine Greek Course Main Course Mutton Prep Time 11-15 minutes Cook time 51-60 minutes Serve 4 Taste Mild Level of Cooking Moderate Others Non Veg Advertisment Ingredients list for Greek Style Lamb 4 Lamb chops 4 medium Potatoes thinly sliced with skin 4 large Tomatoes thinly sliced 1 Brinjal thinly sliced 2 teaspoons Garlic chopped 2 tablespoons Fresh oregano chopped 12-16 Black olives pitted and halved 2 teaspoons Mustard paste Olive oil 5 tablespoons + for drizzling to taste Salt to taste Crushed black peppercorns 100 grams Feta cheese crumbled Method Advertisment Preheat the oven to 200° C. Layer half the potato, tomato and brinjal in a baking dish. Top with half the garlic, oregano, olives and mustard paste. Drizzle five tablespoons of olive oil on top and sprinkle salt and crushed peppercorns on top. Sprinkle the feta cheese on top and repeat the layers with the remaining ingredients. Place the baking dish in the preheated oven and bake for twenty to twenty-five minutes. Place the lamb chops on top, drizzle little more olive oil on top and sprinkle little more salt and crushed peppercorns on top. Bake for another fifteen to twenty minutes or till the lamb is tender. Remove from heat and allow to rest for a while. Serve hot.
