Ingredients list for Ginger Garlic Crispy Chicken
- 3 tablespoons Ginger-garlic paste
- 2 Boneless chicken breasts
- 1½ tablespoons Red chilli paste
- to taste Salt
- to taste Black pepper powder
- 1 teaspoon Soy sauce
- 3 teaspoons Cornflour/ corn starch
- for deep-frying Oil
- 4 White bread slices
Method
- To make the marinade, combine red chilli paste, ginger-garlic paste, salt, pepper powder, soy sauce and cornstarch in a bowl and mix well.
- Slit chicken horizontally into halves and further cut into two. Add these to the marinade and mix well. Set aside to marinate for 10-15 minutes.
- Heat sufficient oil in a kadai.
- Discard edges from bread slices and cut into small cubes. Place in a grinder jar and grind to make breadcrumbs. Transfer the fresh breadcrumbs onto a plate.
- Coat marinated chicken pieces in the breadcrumbs and deep-fry in hot oil till golden and crisp. Drain on absorbent paper.
- Serve hot with sweet chilli sauce.
