Ingredients list for Garlic Mustard Prawns
- 20 Prawns shelled and deveined
- 2 tablespoons Butter
- 2 Spring onions , finely chopped
- 6-8 cloves Garlic , finely chopped
- 2 tablespoons Mustard seeds , coarsely powdered
- 3 tablespoons Cream
- 2 tablespoons Tomato ketchup
- to taste Salt
- 1/4 teaspoon Black peppercorns , crushed
- 1 stalk Spring onion greens , chopped
Method
- Heat the butter in a non stick pan, add the spring onions and garlic and sauté lightly. Add the mustard powder, stir and continue to sauté. Add the prawns and cream and stir.
- Add the tomato ketchup, salt, crushed peppercorns and stir to mix. Cook for about half a minute on high heat. Do not overcook the prawns.
- Add the spring onion greens and immediately take off the heat. Serve immediately with French or garlic bread.
