Ingredients list for Ganthia Ni Kadhi
- 1 1/2 cups bhavnagri ganthia
- 2 cups yogurt
- 1/2 teaspoon Turmeric powder
- 1 teaspoon Red chilli powder
- 3 tablespoons Gram flour (besan)
- Salt to taste
- 2 tablespoons Oil
- 1 teaspoon mustard seeds
- 2 tablespoons coriander leaves
- for garnish coriander sprig
- to serve steamed rice
Method
- Take yogurt in a bowl, add turmeric powder, red chilli powder, gram flour, salt and 2½ cups water and whisk till well combined.
- Heat oil in a non-stick pan, add mustard seeds and let them splutter. Stir in ganthia and boil for 8-10 minutes. Add chopped coriander and take the pan off the heat.
- Transfer kadhi into a serving bowl and garnish with coriander sprig. Serve hot with steamed rice.
