Ingredients list for Flowy Mango Crisps
- 2 medium Ripe mangoes peeled and cut into small cubes
- 12-16 Wonton sheets
- ½ cup Mango puree
- 2 tablespoons Concentrated mango drink powder
- 1 teaspoon Gelatin
- 2 tablespoons Lemon juice
- 2 tablespoons Fresh coriander leaves chopped
- 1 tablespoon Jalapenos finely chopped
- 2 Fresh red chillies chopped
- to taste Salt
- ½ teaspoon Tabasco sauce
- as required Refined flour (maida) slurry
Method
- Heat one cup water in a non-stick pan. Add the mango puree, mango drink powder, gelatin and lemon juice, stir and bring to a boil. Strain the mixture and cool slightly till warm.
- Combine the mango cubes, coriander leaves, jalapenos, fresh red chillies, salt and Tabasco sauce in a bowl. Mix well. Add the mango-gelatin mixture and mix well.
- Pour the mixture in a burfi tray and refrigerate till the mixture sets.Cut the set mixture into one inch cubes and refrigerate.
- Place wonton wrappers on the worktop, apply refined flour slurry on the edges. Place some mango-gelatin cubes in the center, fold all the sides and make a square parcel.
- Place the prepared parcels in a bamboo steamer and steam for four to six minutes.
- Serve warm with vanilla ice cream.
