Ingredients list for Farali Khandvi
- 1 cup Water chestnut flour
- 3 cups Butter milk
- 2 teaspoon Green chilli paste
- to taste Salt
- for shallow frying Oil
- 1 teaspoon Cumin seeds
- 1 teaspoon Red chilli powder
- 1 tablespoon Fresh scraped coconut
- 2 tablespoons Fresh coriander leaves finely chopped
Method
- Mix butter milk, water chestnut flour and green chilli paste in a bowl. Add salt and mix well.
- Heat the prepared mixture in a non-stick pan and cook it on low flame till it becomes thick, stirring continuously.
- Pour the prepared mixture on the greased tray, cool to room temperature and cut the mixture into square pieces and roll them to make a khandvi.
- Heat some oil in a non-stick pan, add cumin seeds, red chilli powder and add khandvi. Cook till done. Add coconut and coriander leaves and mix well. Cook for a minute.
- Serve hot.
